It is our pleasure to announce the addition of the LION OF THE MONTH to our website.
This is where OAL members/friends nominate a person(s) (to later be voted in) who epitomizes what our organization values the most:

Teamwork, fairness, volunteerism and tolerance
Promoting Moroccan heritage
Supporting the Moroccan Community
Assisting in the integration and the understanding among Moroccans & non-Moroccans
Building a healthy and shining Moroccan community
Unselfishly assisting others for the common good of the community

OMAR ELOMARI

It is with pleasure and humility that we present to you our latest Lion of the month; Mr. Omar Elomari. Greater Orlando would not have been as popular with our Moroccan community as it is today, without the efforts of yet another pioneer such as Mr. Elomari.

Born in Marrakesh, Mr. Elomari comes from a family well known in town (and across the country) for its leadership in entertainment. He first came to US to assist with the Disney's Moroccan pavilion opening, he ended up calling Central Florida home ever since.

Elomari was THE welcoming committee for so many of us, when we first settled in the area. Then he continued with his tireless and encouraging voice, pushing us to always do better. He made us sing, he made us laugh, at times he even made us cry, but most importantly he made us think.

We, at the Orlando Atlas Lions are thankful to have Mr. Omar Elomari as part of our community
